Veni, Veni, Emmanuel (O Come, O Come, Immanuel) is considered one of the most popular Advent piece during the Christmas season. The piece was commissioned for Patrick Jaskolka, Deputy Choir Director and Child Choirmaster at the Aalto Opera House in Essen, Germany.
Written for SSA and piano the composition starts reflective then goes into a lively-celebratory manner with wonderful and lush harmonies throughout.
