Description
Veni, Veni, Emmanuel (O come, O come, Immanuel) is one of the most popular Advent pieces. The composition was commissioned for Patrick Jaskolka, Deputy Choir Director and Child Choirmaster from Aalto Opera House in Essen, Germany.
The piece starts off reflective with the long expectation of Christ coming into the world. It quickly goes into a lively-celebratory manner filled with lush harmonies and beautiful sweeping lines throughout.
